Reasonability of establishing the Agency was called forth by the need for a special governmental organization with broad authorities for direct fruitful interaction between the government and private capital without any intermediate parties, rendering practical assistance to the investors (according to ‘one-window’ principle), cooperation with governmental authorities for quick respond to investment proposals.

The Agency shall ensure unity of approaches to search of strategic investors, turn-key implementation of investment projects, rendering advice, advocacy of investment potential of Belarus abroad, establishing diverse cooperation between institutions related to investment activities, and training specialists for working in investment field.

The Agency was established according to the cardinally new principle of partnership with the leading foreign companies actively involved in investments both in Belarus and abroad.

• Upgrade of specialists in the field of investment activities.
