The Belarusian Investment and Economic Forum, the main economic event of the year, is taking place on12-13 November, 2009 in Minsk . This event will be held concurrently with the meeting of the Foreign Investment Advisory Council under the Council of Ministers chaired by the Prime Minister of Belarus Sergei Sidorsky. List of participants includes about 500 people, of whom not less than 250 participants are the representatives of foreign companies. The main purpose of the conference is to draw the attention of the foreign business community to the processes taking place in Belarus , and above all, to a positive changes in the direction of economy liberalization. The Forum will be the best platform for setting up investment cooperation between foreign investors and Belarusian enterprises, it will enable foreign investors to submit business proposals as well. The program of the forum will also include panel discussions and sections, organization of talks with heads of state bodies.
